This closed car smells of salt fish(소금에 절인 생선), the strong New England and commercial scent(향기), reminding me of the Grand Banks and the fisheries. Who has not seen a salt fish, thoroughly cured for this world, so that nothing can spoil it, and putting the perseverance(인내,불굴의 의지) of the saints(성인) to the blush(얼굴을 붉히다)?
이 닫힌 차는 소금에 절인 생선 냄새가 난다(smell of~). 대도시 뉴 잉글랜드와 돈냄새(commercial scent)도 난다. (그 냄새들은) 그랜드 뱅크(만)과 (인근의)어장들(fisheries)을 상기시킨다(remind me). 절인 생선(비린내)을 본적이 없는 사람은 누군가? 이 세상을 완전히(thoroughly) 치유하여(so that) 어떤것도 다시 어지럽히지 못한 (생선절임의 소금은) 성인의 의지를 부끄럽게 하였다.
